Discord Activity

A party game you play inside Discord

Bad Cards runs as a Discord Activity, so the whole game happens inside your voice channel. Nobody leaves the call, nobody installs anything, and everyone plays with the Discord account they already have.

Open Bad Cards in Discord How to play

Free. Works in Discord on desktop, in the browser and on phones.

How to start it

Join a voice channel with your friends.
Open Activities with the rocket button in the voice channel controls.
Pick Bad Cards. If you do not see it, search for it.
Everyone in the channel joins. Pick a game and packs, and the host starts the first round.

It is the same game as the website: a prompt, a hand of cards and one judge per round, with 3 to 16 players.

Party commands in any chat

Playing once puts the Bad Cards commands on your Discord account, so they work in any server or DM. The 18+ versions only show up in age-restricted channels.

/dareFor the person who keeps saying they’re bored. Doable in chat or voice, in under two minutes.
/truthThe questions your server has been too polite to ask. Until now.
/wouldyouratherThe channel votes, the results go live, and somebody gets exposed.
/neverhaveieverEveryone taps I have or I haven’t. The counts don’t lie, even if people do.
/mostlikelyVote on who in the server fits. Names only, no pings, just consequences.
/thisorthatQuick picks that end arguments. Pineapple people, this is your moment.
/badcardsA full round right in the channel: deal, play, vote. Bring your server’s own pack.

Add the bot to your server

Server admins can add the Bad Cards bot. It posts when a game starts, keeps a leaderboard, and lets your members write packs that only your server gets. It is free, with no plan and nothing to cancel.

Buying packs from Discord

Packs and Bad Cards+ can be bought inside Discord on desktop and in the browser. Discord does not allow purchases in its phone apps, so on a phone, buy on bad.cards after signing in with Discord, and it shows up in the Activity.
