Setup
Three steps, then your server starts writing.
Connect Discord
Head to bad.cards, sign in and connect your Discord account.
Pick your server
Choose any server where you have Manage Server, Administrator or Owner rights, then pick monthly or yearly.
Open the floodgates
Back in Discord, your community can create guild packs and play them immediately. Add the bot if you want role restrictions.
Checkout happens on bad.cards rather than inside Discord, because Discord's own subscription system cannot handle proper monthly and yearly server plans.
Straight answers before you spend the server's money
What this is not.
- It does not unlock every premium Bad Cards pack for every member. It unlocks your server's own packs.
- Some paid game modes still require the person creating the pack to hold personal Bad Cards+.
- One active guild subscription per Discord server. There is no stacking.
- Only the person who bought it can cancel it or change guild settings. Admin rights alone do not transfer billing.
- If the subscription lapses, the server loses guild pack access until someone resubscribes.
Do all my members have to pay?
No. One person pays for the server. Everyone playing Bad Cards in that Discord gets the guild packs.
I already pay for Bad Cards+. Do I need this too?
They solve different problems. Bad Cards+ is your personal account, with premium packs and higher personal limits. A guild subscription is your community's shared shelf. Plenty of people run both, and they stack rather than replace each other.
Can another admin cancel it or take it over?
No. Billing and guild settings stay with whoever purchased it. Discord admin rights on their own do not grant control of the subscription, which is deliberate.
Do I need to install the bot?
Only if you want to limit pack creation to specific roles. Without the bot, everyone in the server can create guild packs, which is the default.
What happens to our packs if we cancel?
The server loses guild pack access when the subscription ends. Resubscribing restores it.
