Bad Cards

Free online party card game

Dirty card games, online and free

Bad Cards is a free online card game that goes as far as your group wants it to. The host picks a content rating before the first round, so it can stay mild, or it can be the reason somebody leaves the group chat.

No download. Only the host needs an account.

You decide how far it goes

Every card carries a rating and the host sets the ceiling for the whole game. It is a real setting, not a warning label: cards above the ceiling are never dealt. Here is the ladder, in the words the game uses:

  • GChurch picnic energy. Almost no crimes.
  • PGMild spice. Grandma might sigh.
  • PG-13Teen rebellion with training wheels.
  • RThe good stuff. Don't invite HR.
  • NC-17No survivors. Bring towels.

NC-17 is for adults only. Players under 18 stay at PG-13 or below, and cannot join a game set higher.

Judge's pick

My dream of getting a sugar daddy so I don't have to worry about money anymore.

A hunt to kill the last Jedi.

Real cards from the Bad Situations Pack and the Star Wars Parody Pack. The rating the host picks decides which cards like these get dealt.

Where to start

The free Bad Cards Base Pack is already written for adults, with hundreds of cards. When the group wants worse, themed packs like the Bad Situations Pack and the Morally Corrupt Pack go further, and you can mix several packs in one game.

Keep it among friends

Set the game to private and only people with your six-letter code can join. Public lobbies are there if you want strangers, but nobody wanders into a private game.

Can we keep the game private?

Yes. Set it to private and only people with the code can join.

Do I need an account?

Only the host does. Everyone else joins with the code.
